The XMAC service delta-T, full-wave monopole, and cross-dipole waveforms are acquired simultaneously in a single logging run at 30 ft/min (9.14 m/min). This reduces rig time while providing all of the acoustic data needed for a full range of answers, including Stoneley slowness and permeability index, azimuthally anisotropy, TI anisotropy, thin-bed analysis, and rock mechanical properties.
Applications:
- Analyze anisotropy
- Determine rock mechanical properties
- Perform structural imaging
- Conduct petrophysical evaluations
- Gather thin-bed analyses
Features and benefits:
- Acquisition of all waveforms simultaneously at a logging speed of 30 ft/min
- Reduces rig time during cross-dipole data acquisition
- Acquisition of inline shear and compressional data at a logging speed of 45 ft/min (13.71 m/min)
- High-powered broadband dipole transmitters with superior low-frequency content
- Provides high-quality shear data that eliminate the need for dispersion correction
